Jan. 2nd, 2026 01:05 amenterthemirrorhi, dear reader. wrote out a post and then deleted it because i was insurmountably emo and couldn't really come up with a way to express it. now i am listening to dark ambient. i'm really tired but i still want to make a post. i will probably bring up emo things because they're serious--but i pledge to *not* delete the entire post if i can't figure out how to express them!!! #Accountability. jfc i am tired. anyways.
doing ID things tomorrow. unfortunately, i'll get it in the mail, so i won't be able to use it for a while. they're taking my photo which surprises me (i assumed my passport photo would be reused); i look a little shit so we'll see how it pans out. i'll just wear a slutty shirt with the neckline cut off to be fun. at least it'll only be on a tiny card. everybody looks prettier in ID photos, honestly... slightly annoying to get your ID photo taken when you are in the middle of a horrible depressive episode but it's okay. i have to wake up early tomorrow, too. kill me! kill me! kill me!
blehh i'll talk about music a little... not for too long because i really am tired. listening to Ain Soph... haven't listened to these Nekrophile sorts in a little while. if i wasn't planning to sleep at some point soon i'd listen to LAShTAL after this and then maybe Metgumbnerbone even though they aren't on Nekrophile. do love Metgumbnerbone, though. been thinking of them a lot lately. haven't been thinking of Ain Soph or LAShTAL or anything but Ain Soph is kinda hitting the spot currently. i was listening to lots of Fursaxa earlier which is an entirely different thing... but similar vibe, somehow? been very downtempo lately. can't even get into black metal or anything like that.

anyways i will briefly talk about emo things. noooo i dont want to. this ritual ambient is saving my life currently. can we talk about how cool ritual ambient is?? like OMG i didn tveen bring up Zero Kama like Zero Kama is so /shot. i ammmm... idk. i get frightened every time i think about my own mental state and my future and all that, but i have to think about it more and more seeing as my family is concerned with me. other people are concerned with me, too, but to manageable degrees. i just feel bad still thinking about suicide even when it has gotten to the point where family and friends and people have to tell me, like... hey don't do that. guys i would loveeeee not to. i don't know. i don't currently like where things are. i struggle with thinking as far in the future as even a few weeks. things as simple as thinking about seeing friends and girlfriend and whatever again are increasingly difficult. i think that inpatient thing may be a good idea but i'm terrified of it... i can't imagine enjoying it whatsoever. i can't imagine *going along with it* whatsoever. if i did it it would certainly fuck up school and i'd have to take time off. idk.
i do love Zero Kama though. apparently there's another Music Made With Bones album out there made a few years ago made by some musician idfk which i will need to check out. i only know Metgumbnerbone and Zero Kama as Music Made With Bones Musicians... i always want more of it. just looked on RYM my dearly despised to see if there were other popular ritual ambient bands... NONE of who i have mentioned so far are in the top 10. wtf? RYM people continuing to have shit taste. there's some project by one of the guys from Clock DVA (who i don't much care for) that i may check out because it was seemingly reheating Nekrophile's nachos. i can't listen to much more music tonight. but i want to. this album is really hitting me tonight. vvv good. ok. i should go. love you, dear reader. goodnight for meow :)

I mostly post about: My daily life and mental struggles, with some occasional political commentary, and I link to my book, movie, and streaming television reviews, not to mention a fantasy novel I've been trying to type up from my notebooks for ages. I do a lot of AI art and use them in original memes as well.
My hobbies are: Reading (more nonfiction today than before), writing, streaming television, and AI art. I used to be heavily into gaming but haven't played in a while, but I may next year depending upon my mental health.
My fandoms are: Formerly furry--I got off that sinking ship last year--though I still like anthropomorphic art--and I don't do fandoms anymore.
I'm looking to meet people who: Validate me and respect my unique perspective.
My posting schedule tends to be: Daily.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: I'm not a very big fan of Woke and gender ideology, or anti-AI people.
Before adding me, you should know: I am autistic, but have pretty much disowned my own people, really struggling mentally, incredibly PTSD from decades of trauma from my family and 18 years of psychiatric abuse, not to mention pretty much every online community I was ever part of.

Not up for a full year/132 images? No problem! That's just the Maximum Track, which runs from January 1st through (roughly) the end of the year. There was takeout Indian food; over the past few years, both the Stroppy One and I have developed a sensitivity to something in Indian food, but this was from a pace we hadn’t tried before. It was delicious, and for the rest of the evening I felt fine!
The awfulness apparently decided to wait until I was trying to fall asleep. Even tho’ I took Benadryl, Pepcid, and some Tylenol, I ended up with ferocious acid reflux; not only did it keep me awake until almost 5am, but it was bad enough that I now have a phlegm-filled cough, and it brought back all the horrible symptoms I endured from the Covid vaccine. This isn’t how I wanted to start my new year

Speaking of the new year, I decided to state some resolutions!
- Do more witchcraft. Even if on some days it’s only lighting some candles with focused intent. That still counts. I nd to wrap myself in my own power and comfort.
- This is the big one: I’m going to try to not buy new clothes during 2025. I’ll buy fabric for dresses if it’s truly amazing, and things like bras, knickers, tights, and socks are exempt from the no-buy. I’m curious if I can stick to this, as I’m a magpie who likes hitting the shiny “add to cart” and getting packages in the mail. Buuuuuuuuutttt I will confess that I have an overwhelming amount of clothes. Thanks to the Madwoman in the Attic, I have enough dresses that I could wear a different one every day for more than a month. So! No clothes buying! Okay, except for this dress, which I plan on buying with the money I save by not buying anything else.

Chronicles of the Great Peninsula. A cycle of mythic historical fantasy series about a battle between cultures, Chronicles of the Great Peninsula is set at a time when a centuries-old civilization is in danger of being destroyed. The cycle is inspired by conflicts between cultures during late antiquity.
Turn-of-the-Century Toughs. Honored seven times in the Rainbow Awards for LGBTA literature, Turn-of-the-Century Toughs is a cycle of gaslamp alternate history series about disreputable men on the margins of society, and the men and women who love them. Set in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as in a future that never existed, the novels and stories take place in an alternative version of America that was settled by inhabitants of the Old World in ancient times.
What relationships exist between your OCs? Be it platonic, romantic, familial, or even enemies and so on!
